Many still consider a dishwasher a luxury item or an extravagance, especially in countries where the habit of washing dishes by hand is deeply ingrained. However, with technological advancements, the accelerating pace of life, and the increasing household burden on both women and men, the dishwasher has become a true lifesaver. This is particularly relevant in Uzbekistan, where traditional feasts can gather 10–20 guests, and food preparation is a generous and thorough affair. Time Saving This is perhaps the first and foremost reason why everyone who has tried dishwashers praises them. Even after a regular dinner for 3–4 people, a mountain of plates, pots, cutlery, and glasses can remain. If all of this is washed by hand, it takes 15–30 minutes. And if you prepared dinner for guests or have a large family, it can take up to an hour. A dishwasher handles all of this without your involvement. You simply load the dishes, add detergent, and start the desired program. It does everything else itself. The freed-up time can be spent on rest, socializing with loved ones, or a favorite hobby. Reduced Water Consumption Many mistakenly believe that a dishwasher uses more water than hand washing. In reality, it's quite the opposite. Modern models consume 6 to 12 liters of water per cycle. In comparison, washing dishes by hand under running water uses 30–50 liters, or even more if there are many dishes. Thus, a dishwasher is not only more convenient but also much more economical in terms of water consumption. This is especially important in regions with hot climates where water supply can be unstable or limited. Perfect Cleanliness and Hygiene Machine washing doesn't just rinse away dirt – it does so at temperatures up to 70 degrees Celsius. Such a temperature is not achievable with hand washing, especially when using a regular sponge. As a result, dishes not only become perfectly clean but also undergo a form of thermal disinfection, destroying microbes and bacteria. This is especially important
